What is Homesteading?
Homesteading is the act of creating a self-sufficient lifestyle by growing your own food, raising livestock, and building a home on a piece of land. It's a way life that emphasizes self-reliance and sustainability, and it has become increasingly popular in recent years as people seek to more simply and reduce their impact on the environment.
Homesteading without land is possible, even in small homes or apartments. You can start growing herbs and vegetables in containers, composting your food scraps, and making own cleaning products. You also learn to preserve food, sew own clothes, and make your soap. With a little creativity and resourcefulness, you can embrace the homesteading lifestyle no matter where you live.

I love sharing what I know from being taught and learning. I have a passion to help others learn new skills the way my family gave me. Each week we will tackle new things or topics together! If you know something from our wise elders from days gone by, please share them as we know knowledge is power!
